von Whistleblowern anzustoßen und zu befördern. Ihre Kenntnisse als Insider
oder <span class=SpellE>ExpertInnen</span> und ihre uneigennützige
Bereitschaft, „Alarm zu schlagen“, stellen häufig die einzige Möglichkeit dar,
grobe Missstände und Fehlentwicklungen aufzudecken und noch zu korrigieren. Deshalb
müssen Whistleblower besser geschützt werden. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

text1'>Der Whistleblower-Preis soll eine Form des Zuspruchs, der Anerkennung,
der Ermutigung und der Solidarität zum Ausdruck bringen. Er soll eine ganz
besondere Wertschätzung für ein Verhalten ausdrücken, das primär von
gemeinnützigen Motiven, von Gemeinsinn geprägt ist und das in einer für unser
Zusammenleben und Überleben bedeutsamen Frage ein großes Maß an Zivilcourage unter
Inkaufnahme erheblicher Nachteile und Gefahren offenbart.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
