Hi

I am a masters student in Informatik at the University of Saarland. My alma
mater is Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT), part of University
of Delhi, India.

Associate Prof DV Gadre (dvgadre.com) at NSIT is the Coordinator for Center
of Electronics Design and Technology and the Director of the Texas
Instruments Center for Embedded Product Design. He has been actively
involved in the promotion of a 'hands-on' learning culture for close to a
decade now. The lab has also been associated with the Fablab (
fabfoundation.org) network of MIT Center for Bits and Atoms.

He is interested in organizing a *hardware* Hackathon to engage and encourage
"... entrepreneurs, technophiles, budding engineer and hacker in the field
of electronics hardware that we so desperately desire...".

I was hoping that given your experience with such events, you may be able
to help out on several fronts:
- Advice drawn from your past experiences organizing and attending hardware
hackathons. The dos and the donts, tips on what makes a hardware hackathon
successful.
- Sponsorship or tips and contacts where one may find sponsorship
- Ideas for projects

Prof Gadre is copied in the mail.

Thanks and Best Regards
Dushyant Mehta
